Nude Lips ~ Choosing the Right Shade for You!
It is very important to choose the right shade. Look at your natural skin color. A rule of thumb is to choose two shades lighter or two shades darker than your skin color and to always try on the various shades before you buy. Do not look at a picture or display and "think" that's the right shade for you, so make sure and put it on first. Sometimes a nude look can make you look washed out, so using a lip pencil in a neutral shade will help to give depth to your lips and if you don't want to go completely nude, try a sheer gloss to emphasize your lips. A natural and nude lip will always look great on your face. If you know of an actress that is similar in skin tone, check to see what hues she wears as this can be a great guideline in deciding the right shade and look. Try Colorescience Lip Shine SPF35 in Champagne or Lip Serum in Nude. Check out the details here.

Get That Illuminating Glow For Fall
Having a glow to your skin will give you that healthy and youthful look that everyone wants to achieve. When the weather gets cooler, it is important to always have a great exfoliating and hydrating skin care regimen, so your skin and makeup glow. Good skin always makes your makeup look better. Here is a quick and easy way to get your Illuminating Fall Makeup look.

1. You are now going into your Fall  & Winter shade, so it is important to match your foundation/powder one shade lighter than the color you use in the Spring/Summer. A great trick is to mix your foundation w/ your favorite moisturizer. Hydration and color is great now that it's cooler.

2.  Matte Bronzer is a must. You can choose a powder in your favorite brand, but choose a darker shade. Colorescience, MAC Mineralize Powders, and Bobbi Brown have some great matte powders that you can use as your bronzer. A trick to applying bronzer is to look like a fish in the mirror. This will hollow your cheeks and this is where you will contour. Starting at your ear, blend downwards. Without using more bronzer, carry the bronzer towards your hairline. Do the same on the other cheek as well.  Take a little bronzer and sweep on your chin and nose.

3.  Blush. A great blush in the fall/winter is a pinky/rosy blush. This will give you that natural, rosy flush that happens when it's cold. Smile in the mirror and apply right at the apples of the cheek. Blend into your bronzer, but make sure and don't blend towards the ear, just the apples.

4.  Highlight is next. Highlighters give that illuminating, glow factor, but use it only in the areas where you want to highlight. This is where you can use your shimmer bronzer or more of a brighter shimmer. Beginning at your cheekbone, in between the pupil and corner of your eye, start and sweep along your cheekbone. Take your highlighter and sweep down the bridge of your nose, and place under your brow on the brow bone or all over your lid.

5. Now you have that Illuminating Glow that is this year's Fall Makeup Trend.

BeautyBlender Gives Flawless Makeup Application!
Everyone wants that look that if you wear makeup, you don't ever want it to look like you're wearing makeup.  You want to have that perfect, flawless face.  You want your makeup to go into your skin effortlessly.  You actually want your makeup to look like your skin. Well, problem solved!  The Beautyblender is a must have if you want that flawless, perfect skin finish. It's a sponge, but not just any sponge.  It's Hollywood's latest makeup secret.  All the Hollywood set makeup artists swear on this.  The thing is, when you use your fingers or that infamous triangle sponge, you can get streaks and that makeup look we all hate.  The Beautyblender is beyond amazing!  By using this, your makeup will actually look like your skin and is latex free, non-allergenic, and odor free.  I found this secret while visiting my sister (and stuntwoman) in L.A.  We had gone to one of the best makeup stores that all the A-list industry people go to and when she saw this cute, peculiar looking sponge, she had mentioned that while she was on a movie set, the makeup artist used it and her makeup was amazing!  The makeup artist at the store confirmed her testimony and added that the Beautyblender was a must have purchase.  It comes with a cleanser called the Blendercleanser as well.  The makeup artist mentioned the cleanser is also a must have.  Cleansing your Beautyblender every time you use it will make it last up to one year!   Of course I have both and love them.  Check out the picture and more on how to use it and the cleanser to purchase in the Product Review section.  Please visit http://www.beautyblender.net/ where you can view more on the product, there's a great tutorial, and more on the cleanser! Enjoy!
